Back From China

Cables, Cables, more Cables

The Soldering Station

The Cable Factory

Crimping Ends

Ok, so they took me out to dinner after the visit to the factory and ordered me snake. Rude not to try, but it is supposed to be good for, well, you know....

Ok, these WERE actually tasty

Nanjing, Old Town

Candied Crabapples

Is this where the saying "Putting all your ducks in a row" comes from?

The Bullet Train (200 mph+) station. I swear the Chinese have it on us as far as transpo.

One of the hotels I stayed at.

Another  View of the Hotel Gardens.

Just got back from a whirlwind trip to factories around China. Completed sets of cables are in final production for Dreams, Superhawks, and CB450's. They match exactly the originals. Lucky to have the largest mfr. of cables there working with us. Amazing plant and amazing to watch them do it.  Also saw the first proto of the Dream 305 Headlamp with a bulb you can change out, so when your Sealed Beam burns out, you don't have to find an old one on ebay (if you are even lucky). Rubber items are in production, like kickstand protectors for the mufflers, rubber "doughnuts"  for the center stand, front fender mudflaps, and the always elusive fender/fork u-shaped bushing. And oh yeah, the muffler/header gasket of top quality high-heat silicone. Also, luggage racks in two sizes, front and rear fender bumpers, v-shaped crashbars, and header pipes for the 305's. Cast seat foam and new seat covers that are more accurate than anything on the market. All being made. Stay tuned for photos of the actual product, and when I launch the site.
